Memorial Day

I thought it'd be a good idea to celebrate Memorial Day by watching Fahrenheit 9/11, but all it did was succeed in pissing me off.

And that was just the part before the opening credits.

Seriously.

It's hard to watch anything like that these days. Every time i see al gore's name in print I cry.

I saw it in theater a while back, and my Republican family members took it upon themselves to remind me of how many "inaccuracies" Moore used in the film to prove his (biased) point. Looking SO forward to Why We Fight, which comes out on DVD June 20.

I watched it again on TV within the last year and was struck by how some Moore's points that seemed strained when I saw it when the movie was released now seemed far more plausible. The more we find out about the venality of this administration the more we realize that you can't overestimate their greed and mendacity.
