I'm beside myself with disgust.

"My family and I are deeply sorry for all that Vice President Cheney and his family have had to go through this past week," Whittington said. "We hope that he will continue to come to Texas and seek the relaxation that he deserves."

It's one thing to be gracious. It's another thing to be a doormat. Or a patsy. Or to say YOU'RE THE SORRY ONE when your "buddy" shoots you in the face on accident.

I mean, look at him. Because of this incident, he had a heart attack AND his face is all busted. I don't get it.

That you would say that shows you haven't the slightest idea what gracious means. The man is truly embarrassed by the uproar created by the likes of you and the sycophant media over a simple hunting accident. Further, Mr. Whittington knows (but your left wing press did not report) that he contributed to the accident by not announcing where he was -- a MUST when you are in the field hunting game birds. So grow up and dummy up. Try to know what you are talking about before you go spouting nonsense

Mr. Whittington? Is that you? How nice of you to stop by my humble ol' blog!

Actually, I do recall hearing something in the press about Cheney saying you didn't announce your location. It's okay, don't be embarassed, Mr. Whittington. You shouldn't have to defend Cheney's actions by taking on the blame all by yourself.

What a loyal friend you are.
